Snail Races…A lot of announcers

May 31, 2008

What a crowd, but we did it! Imagine six of us in the booth, and we hardly stepped on each other’s lines.

Interviewing Fox

May 31, 2008

Kicking back with SL old-timer Fox Cassidy who has been here since 2004! She is a gifted raconteur and adventuress. I had a great time finding out about the early days of SL, and just getting to know this rennaissance woman.

Pastels By Someone Who Passed On

May 28, 2008

Artistic Fimicloud (Fimi) passed away, succumbing to the dreaded “C”. I did not know her, but Lomgren took me to her gallery, and I marveled at the heavy impasto and depth of work from this woman

Aira Jun Performs

May 24, 2008

My friend, Aira told me he was taking his Bossa Nova sounds to Second Life. I had interviewed him for the Metaverse Messenger, and he told me about this gig. I had to come hear him, because Brazilian Jazz is my secret passion. His playing was exceptionally good.

Fox Cassidy

May 20, 2008

One of the older members of SL (2004) she took an avie out of her inventory made by Arito Cotton, who was one of the first residents of SL. She proceeded to demo a particle fox tail, and other goodies from the days when there were not even torii.

Making a Teeny Tiny Chair

May 18, 2008

My friend’s birthday is coming, and he is only 6″ tall in Second Life. That means I get to improve and learn my Micro Prim skills. Here I am putting a tiny rocker on the bottom of an easy chair. After that I will put a script in the chair that will make it rock on touch. Hope I don’t make the little guy ill. Happy Almost Birthday.

Awww How Cute!!

May 13, 2008

My cat is just about the sweetest thing on four paws. She purrs and cuddles with me, rubbing her soft head on my chin. My cat goes outside and stares at a bush for an hour without moving, until a vole apears. She then grabs the vole, hurts it, lets it go, catches it, hurts it some more, lets it go, catches it, lets it go, catches it, lets it go, etc. When it can no longer play, because the vole is inert, it loses interest, and comes in the house so that I can skritch its head.

Legos!!!!

May 11, 2008

Show and Tell remains the one place to go to see all the most innovative builders and scripters. Mango Splash showed his legos to the crowd. I was wishing my friend Lomgren was here, because he loves Legos. Anyway, he didn’t give me a sample, so no fun for me.
