Veteran’s Day 2009

At the wall in Washington, D.C. I guess it’s only fitting. Anyone who knows me, knows I am a pacifist. However, I still honor and salute those brave men and women who are sent in harms way. Perhaps one day I will not have any wars to mourn.

A Japanese city, recreated in astonishing detail. Every so often I open the Showcase tab on Search to check out a new place. Sure, this is a shopping district wrapped around some fancy prims, but the feel is just right, and I am going to explore.

The Man Still Burns

It’s like reunion time at the base of the man. I found Jaxie Oceanlane, Vicero Lamber, Saffia Widdershins, Tay Runo, Muriella Munro, and lots of others at the feet of the Burning Man. The most amazing thing is the avatars scripted to carry big logs to keep the fire going. When I think back over the four BLs I have seen here, this is by far the best organized and most imaginative.
